Although these are the markets that concentrate the largest number of real estate projects of super-luxury in Spain - only in the capital are there more - the most expensive house for sale officially in the country is not found in any of these two cities, strange as it may seem. In fact, there is an area of the national territory that arouses great interest among the great national and international fortunes and a type of product whose prices manage to dwarf any of the real estate records achieved in the last year.

Precisely facing the sea, on The Golden Mile of the city of Marbella, is for sale what is possibly the most expensive house in Spain: 80 million euros. A figure that could buy up to six penthouses as expensive as the one that the Lar Real Estate and Pimco Socimi sold just a year ago, one of the most exclusive projects in Madrid.
But in addition, with that amount one could buy several buildings of houses in the most elite areas of Madrid, and still, the owner of those 80 million would have money left over for some more acquisition in the capital.
It should be noted that this is not the most expensive property in search of an owner since there are assets that are not officially for sale. The owners want absolute confidentiality so they are properties that are sold out of the market.
The property in question however, has characteristics that take your breath away. It has a constructed area of approximately 3,900 square meters - a terrace measures 500 meters-, which stands on a plot of 8,000 square meters. The property has no less than twelve bedrooms, ten bathrooms and eight parking spaces. It is precisely the enormous dimensions of these properties that greatly increase the price of this home. Surfaces, on the other hand, more difficult to find in markets such as Madrid or Barcelona where, although prices of real madness are being reached in some promotions, they have never been reached nor will they reach prices as high as this real estate whim in Marbella.
