Next Monday, September 10th, the remodelling works of the calle Pizarro in San Pedro Alcántara will begin. With a budget of 1.2 million euros and an execution period of eight months. The action will consist mainly of the renovation of the entire underground infrastructure, such as supply and sanitation networks as well as public lighting.
There will also be aesthetic updates to the pedestrianisation of the street. The remodelling is mainly geared towards making the area more attractive for locals and of course tourists.
During the work, calle Hernán Cortés will be cut to traffic for a month, so an alternative route has been created. The traffic on Pizarro will be open until you reach calle San Gabriel, where you will turn left to join the 19th of October.
